You are receiving this newsletter because we thought you might be interested in the activities of the Hameau du Morimont and the Labo M association, which aims to and reclaim artisanal, agricultural and digital for in the face of ecological and societal constraints in joy and good humor!
Anaïs, 24, sets up as a farmer in Brittany. Nothing can stop her. Not the administration, not the misogynistic teachers, not the broken-down tractor, not the vagaries of the weather... 10 years later, Anaïs is now married to a young Senegalese man, Seydou. With the harsh border law complicating everything, they'll have to roll up their sleeves... Together
Screening at 6 p.m., followed by a shared meal. Don't forget to bring a specialty! If you can announce your arrival, that's even better.
This activity is reserved for members of the association. To join, it's quick online or on site!
For the 11th edition, we wonder why we should enjoy the Folk festival at Morimont, and more broadly our relationship with food.
If we talk about indulgence, are we talking about the guilty pleasure of quietly nibbling on a pretty little cupcake - but bad, it must be said - bought in the bakery that we dream of or, on the contrary, a grand banquet prepared with and for loved ones, with seasonal products? How is it that today, what puts sparkles in the eyes is the only individual pleasure, coming from industry and disconnected from the living?
With Labo M, we would like to rediscover the taste of shared pleasures, from farm to fork, in a joyful and grounded process, so we are not going to serve you unicorn candies but on the contrary, rather question our relationship with food: why is sugar still not classified as a drug? What could be the social security of food?
The festival begins late Friday afternoon. Every evening there will be dances with incredible bands, and during the day there will be dance and singing workshops, a concert in the forest, an elf ball, several workshops on this year's theme: gourmet food. In short, it's going to be great!
Please note that space is limited and there will be no on-site ticket sales for bals. Get your tickets now online . Dances and workshops require reservations, but daytime activities are free.
If you ask why we should enjoy this edition, one of the answers is that in 2026 there will be no festival at Morimont, so let's enjoy it this time!
And finally, a quick review of the latest collective project in pictures! This project was a great success, as you can see!
And here is the state at the end of the construction, with its roof built in parallel!
Find details of the construction of the oven on our blog (and the framework which was not part of the participatory project here ).
Thanks to all the people who participated in this project:
Cyrille, Guilhem, Eglantine, Stéphane, Sarah, Tabéa, Némo, Vincent, Élodie, Baptiste, Noé, Héloïse, Lou, Nao, Clifford, Antoine and Angélin!
We will be able to test the oven during the folk festival, and surely on other occasions later for “gourmet” batches!
See you soon at Morimont!
