Hi everyone !
2024 is an important year for Labo M, because it marks 10 years of the first festival at Morimont, which has now become a must among European folk festivals: you guessed it, it's the Folk au Morimont! To mark the 10th anniversary, we have planned a very special edition with twice the fun: we'll let you discover that below, and in the meantime we'll tell you about the new event at le Morimont: the Hameau Nature festival!
What is the Hameau Nature festival?
We noticed that the atmosphere during Morimont festivals is what most attracts people who are used to the place. We have therefore brought together the ingredients that create the magic - 3 days of festival, a sensitive and human program, good, healthy, local food prepared with love, and moments of sharing conducive to discussions and jams (bring your instruments! ) - all around a subject that animates and guides us: Nature.
This gives the Hameau Nature, the first in a long series, with its poetic circus shows, its artists in residence, a film screening in the middle of the forest, an outdoor photo exhibition, a hike on the Lynx trail and educational workshops for all ages in a “cool” atmosphere. What do you think ?
The festival is approaching and needs your support so that this first edition knows what makes the Morimont events strong: its audience!

Folks at Morimont
This year we will not be offering one edition but two! The goal ?
Mark 10 years and try to make the festival accessible to all those who wish to come every year but who are not among the first 300 at the ticket office!
We are therefore embarking on a new adventure: the double festival with unique programming, two festivals that are similar but with a new audience.
October 4, 5, 6 or October 11, 12, 13 ? It's up to you !
Organization and volunteering
Organizing two festivals also requires having two separate teams of volunteers: we already have a small team of volunteers and are therefore launching our call for those who would like to join it to experience the festival from the inside! We also have room for organization if that appeals to you!
Send us an email to benevolat@le-labo-m.fr with the festival(s) you would like to participate in and the number of days you can stay there and we will get back to you!
And finally
A final word regarding association news: the Radio studio that our friends from local community radio ( Radio Quetsch ) helped us install is now running at full capacity! We regularly go live on 89.1FM in Altkirch and it’s so cool! 
Don't hesitate to take a look at the latest articles from the association's blog . You will find there in particular:
- photos of the last participatory earth coating project (and the radio program recorded with participants in the project)
- the rebroadcast of all the radio broadcasts produced during the Swing festival (live, sidewalk microphones, interviews, almost 15 hours of live!!) which really give the atmosphere of the festival,
- a show with Adeline, singer, who notably gave a workshop during Folk 2023
