Le Labo M calendar for 2024! - English version
If we wanted to make a little intro with the key words we use in our grant applications, we would say something like: "a year dedicated to nature awaits you, with numerous partnerships for regional and access to all audiences !"
But here, we're talking to you: the friends of the association and we have nothing to prove, so let's put it another way: yes, this year, we have the energy to deploy many projects that are important to us : for example new Hameau Nature festival, Folk Festival over two weekends, etc!
Yes, after 10 years in Alsace, we start to have friends, including within other associations and structures, with whom we want to change the world, so we take advantage of it and it's sure that it will work and be infinitely rich, so come and see what’s happening here!
Before announcing our 2024 public events calendar, we have a small request: we need you to join us ! And yes, it is sometimes difficult to formulate it, but the heart of an association is the people who make it up, who support it, who sometimes come together to define the path, beyond the friendly moments presented in the calendar below. Whether you are an active member or a supporter, the membership fee is name-your-price and can be done online here . 
Collaborative workcamp n°1 - wooden frame partitions
From March 3 to 10
Participatory projects are an opportunity to learn, to share joyful moments, sometimes unusual, always instructive! Let's even say that the participatory project has incredible emancipatory virtues! The Labo M projects created vocations, demystified work and DIY, or simply allowed us to spend excellent times doing and learning beautiful and useful things together. Nice program, isn't it? And that’s good because there will be plenty of construction projects this year!
La Grangette is the magnificent “little” barn of the eglantines-etc floral farm, which emerged from the ground in 2023. It's all beautiful, brand new, but for the moment, there is only the envelope, and we are giving ourselves 2024 to bring the interior spaces to life.
For the first construction session at La Grangette , here is the program: wooden paneling on the ceiling (straw insulation support), "deconstructed" cladding and wooden frame of the partitions. We're going to make chips!
Swing workshop at the Rocher media library - Ferrette
Wednesday March 6 4-5:30 p.m.
And if the association leaves the walls of Morimont, what happens?
This year we are testing workshops on swing dances within the new Ferrette media library. For residents of Ferrette without a car, it will be more practical.
And for parents who want to dance as a couple, we even organize childcare!
Film debate at Morimont
Wednesday March 6, 7 p.m.
The film has not been definitively chosen! The list of films in competition is available here, and if you have any masterpieces in mind (films or documentaries), don't hesitate to let us know here !
In any case, meet at Morimont at 7 p.m. for a shared meal, followed by the screening and debate!

Once again, the opportunity to meet beautiful people while doing something constructive together!
On the program for this session: installation in the Grangette building of wood fiber insulation between uprights, cob and finishing coating tests.

The plant festival is the event organized by the eglantines-etc floral farm for the inauguration of La Grangette, the new building in the hamlet of Morimont.

Saturday 2 p.m.: visits to the farm, sale of plants
6 p.m.: inauguration aperitif
9 p.m.: inauguration fiesta (DJ party)

Hamlet Nature Festival
Weekend of June 7 to 9
This is Labo M’s new big project for this year! The idea is to be outside, to meet in front of a beautiful naturalist film in the open air, around a brazier to drink a good potion, for a silent lookout, or even under the small dome of the Circular Theater between the caravans artists.
There will be wonder, guinguette garlands, wooden games, songs around the fire, and that's enough!

Collaborative workcamp n°4 - earth coatings
from August 5 to 9
On the program for this session: finishing earth coatings on cob for the Grangette partitions!
Bonus: film debate on August 7 - surely a film on low-tech construction!
Folk Festival at Morimont
Weekends of October 4 to 6 AND October 11 to 13
10 years of the festival ! hop! hop! hop!
And to give more people a chance to come, it will be over two weekends , with almost the same programming for both editions!
