The Folk au Morimont festival is coming up!

We hope you are all well, that you are enjoying this (almost) beautiful beginning of summer, and that the spirit of dance is still in you! Speaking of dancing... we're really itching to dance at Le Morimont... See you there soon? 😃
The organisation of Folk au Morimont 2021 is already well underway, we can't wait to make it happen with you! The cancellation of the 2020 edition and of most of the public activities of the association didn't dampen our energy, and it's with even more enthusiasm that we prepare the adventure for 2021!
See you on 1st, 2nd and 3rd October 2021 for the 7th Folk au Morimont festival!
Our guests in a nutshell

- Dekolaz: nice cocktail of traditional dances carried by Occitan, French and Creole songs
- Petit Piment: Poitou and Gascon to make you tremble, a collective trance destination

What about Covid?
We follow the new regulations regularly and will try to adapt as well as possible to the modalities which will be in force at that period: this evolves every day so it is difficult to foresee everything now, you will be kept informed as of the evolution.
We are recruiting!
The spirit of volunteering at Folk au Morimont goes further than a service rendered in exchange for free admission to the festival: the volunteers put their stamp on the festival and give it that special spirit that prevails there.
There are still places available in our volunteer team! We are still looking for people to join us before, during and after the festival (27th September to 6th October).
We will quickly confirm your participation depending on the available places!
Association Le Labo M: who are we and what are our values?
Le Labo M is the association that organises the Folk au Morimont festival and other cultural events in the beautiful location of Le Morimont, in the south of Alsace, close to Switzerland, in the municipality of Oberlarg.
In addition to the Folk festival, the association organises handmade days, a swing dance festival, participative worksites, hosting international volunteers to experience alternative ways of life and to participate in the life of the place.
Le Labo M is committed to reclaiming artisanal and agricultural know-how for resilience in the face of ecological and societal constraints, to encourage maximum collaboration with local actors, and to make ecology an everyday art. This brings us to...
Carsharing!
Everyone knows that cars are expensive, polluting and so forth. On top of that, once they arrive here at Le Morimont, they take up space, compact the soil, turn the fields into mud if it rains...
This year, even more than in previous years, we will try to make it easier for you to come without your car!
In 2018, a festival of more than 300 people was organised at Le Morimont, and everyone came and went by hitchhiking from Paris, Bordeaux and Marseille!
Solutions will be provided by the time the ticket office opens, and we have already set up a carsharing system to the festival on this page .
Among other proposals, we are also thinking of setting up a shuttle system for those who choose the train, or assistance for the last few kilometres for those who hitchhike.
